February 2021 sees a change in leadership for Greenock Division. The new Division Commissioner Wilma Carroll has now set up a new team to carry on the baton in leading the Division forwards into the next 5 years of Girlguiding in Greenock. Before planning for the future, we must thank the volunteers, that made up the last leadership team, for their outstanding contribution and commitment to the Division over the last 5 years.
Wilma Carroll and new Assistant Division Commissioner Gillian Dick made some doorstop deliveries to Norma Ramsay (Outgoing Commissioner) to thank her for leading us all so well over her 5-year term, along with the following members of her executive team:
Sandra Sutherland, Division Treasurer who has kindly agreed to carry on this role.
Lynda Thompson, Division Assistant for the last 5 years.
Shelia Tait, Division Outdoor Advisor for the last 3 years.
Shona Newbigging, Division Secretary for the last 10 years.
And Gordon McLachlan, Greenock Guide Notes Editor for the last 6 years.
On behalf of Greenock Division thank you all for your valuable years of service to not only our Division Exec but also to the countless years of volunteering with your own units.
