Members of Girlguiding Greenock Division and invited guests met in Gourock Golf Club for their AGM recently.
Division Commissioner Norma Ramsay hosted the event which was attended by Leaders from all parts of the Division along with Mr Rodger Manson who acted as Chairperson for the Event. The Rev Eileen Manson and Inverclyde Councils Provost Martin Brennan and County Commissioner Christine McLachlan were also in attendance. The meeting heard the Division report from Norma which highlighted all the activities that have happened over the last year. Hazel Munro, gave the financial report for the division, her twentieth such report and her last as she is standing down from the post having held it for so long. After the reports there then followed the presentation of long service awards and “Going Away With” qualifications to leaders and girls by Christine McLachlan Renfrewshire County Commissioner. Lastly, there was an excellent presentation by Annabelle who had been to an international Guide and Scouting event in Denmark where over thirty seven thousand guides and scouts from around the world had gathered.
