Four units from Greenock Division travelled north to Angus to attend a spectacular event in the beautiful grounds of Glamis Castle, childhood home of the Queen Mother.
2nd Larkfield Rainbows, 23rd Greenock Brownies, 3rd Greenock Brownies and 3rd Greenock Guides came together with other Girlguiding members from all over Scotland, to celebrate their achievement of completing the ‘Rise to the Challenge’ program. The event was jam packed with different hands-on activities based on five-themed zones – survival skills, nature, creative, baking, and construction & engineering. Well done to all the girls and leaders who attended this event and represented Girlguiding in this area. They certainly rose to the Challenge!
